Holiday Cheer with the Tail Waggers
What a REALLY wonderful, festive and special day South County Tail Waggers had yesterday!!! The weather was absolutely perfect, with the sun on our faces but just a hint of a chill to remind us of the season -- Beautiful Christmas music flowed through downtown -- Candy canes and pup treats were abundant -- and most importantly, dogs and their families got to make very special holiday memories together, and we were so lucky to have been apart of it!!!
South County Tail Waggers would like to thank our wonderful South County community for coming out to the Gilroy Holiday Parade, Tree Lighting and Doggie Dress-Up! We would also like to thank Melanie Corona and the Gilroy Downtown Business Association for inviting us to partner with you! It was absolutely our pleasure, and we are already looking forward to next year! Also thank you to Bob & Sue Baker for making our 2nd Annual Puppy Photos with Mr. & Mrs. Claus a great success!
This was our first time hosting a Doggie Dress Up Contest, and we are so relieved to report that everyone had a really good time! MOST IMPORTANTLY, the dogs did! PHEEEEEEW! It was of the utmost importance to South County Tail Waggers that all of our contest participants were treated with respect and dignity. Congratulations to gorgeous Einstein for winning Most Original. Congratulations to adorable Tooney for winning Most Comfortable. Congratulations to the sweet Olive for winning Most Festive.
Thank you to our dear and incredible friend, Sondra Alexandre for being yet again, a photographer extraordinaire! You did a phenomenal job, as ALWAYS! Because of you, these families will have their souvenir photo to cherish for years to come!
Last but certainly not least, thank you to our AMAZING volunteers that worked their #tailwagger tushes off for our vendor tent! These amazing women were baking in the kitchen all week, and creating wonderful art masterpieces just for us! Thank you to Lori Baker Jones, Jennifer Wanzong and Jeannie LeBaron for all of your constant hard work!
Thank you again everyone for coming out to support South County Tail Waggers! All proceeds from this amazing event will go to our medical fund so that we can keep SAVING LIVES! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
